HOC News & Milestones

October 2005 – HOC is evaluating new natural health related products for introduction to its new business development program.

May 2005 – ATA Hyperbaric successfully completes FDA listing of the HOC designed monoplace systems FDA No. K040145

May 2005 – HOC makes its submission to be listed on the Pink Sheet Quotation System.

December 2004 – HOC relinquishes all interests in its former facility at Coquitlam, BC. This was largely due to the age of this hyperbaric system and the related ergonomic deficiencies in continued service for client and staff.

Jan 2004 – Due to inability of the Ocean Wind Medical & Surgical Center to proceed with its business project HOC has withdrawn participation.

June 2003- HOC sold its hyperbaric technology project to ATA Hyperbaric Chamber Systems Inc. This was done to remove any perception of conflict of interest with potential customers with the HOC Victoria facility, which has clients from many locations in the U.S. and Canada.

June 2004 – HOC has accepted the resignation of Dr. Zayd Ratansi as Director and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Ratansi wishes to concentrate on his own interests which do not offer any ongoing benefit to HOC or its related activites. Mar 2003   Agreement in principle has been reached with Ocean Wind Medical & Surgical Center for the inclusion of an HOC Health System center within this state of the art facility, which is providing a wide range of medical services and elective surgeries, including overnight stays. Site services will include a new magnetic resonance imaging system (MRI) and in-house pharmacy. HOC will benefit from the direct on site referral of over 30 physicians and surgeons working in this center. Planned opening date is June 2003. HOC and Ocean Wind expect this to be the first in a series of already planned expansion locations in the U.S. and Canada. (link coming soon)

Mar 2003   HOC’s Vancouver Health Center has recently expanded into Health Spa Therapies with its new Medi-Spa program.

Mar 2003   The HOC Coquitlam Health Center has now added UVB photoluminescence protocols to further enhance  Environmental Medicine Department. 

Mar 2003   In addition to the trading facility being established on the NIPHIX, HOC is investigating other trading venues in light of current market conditions and anticipated regulatory changes.

Mar2003    Audited financial reporting has been delayed due to the aborted RUNCORP merger. HOC is working to provide shareholders with current annual report and interim information as well as regulatory filings.

Mar2003  www.HALO.TV and HOC have implemented a strategy for mutual success in the growing personal health market place, with exciting plans for the future – this relationship already includes Dr. Ratansi as a regular featured guest and heard on over 70 radio stations across the U.S. and Canada weekly and a business relationship to promote the success of HOC product sales.

Mar2003   HOC announces GOLDCARD membership.        -In its introduction towards lifetime health members who are OWNERS in a bigger way.

Jan 2003    RUNCORP/HOC merger deemed inappropriate and not in the best interest of HOC shareholders.

Jan 2003    HOC has consolidated and closed some centers in order to achieve better standardization of operation and service in anticipation of the closer working relationship with progressive main stream medicine in new sites like the Ocean Wind center mentioned earlier. HOC Kelowna was closed due to poor traffic location. This site however contributed to the development of the HOC Corporate Health program, which be introduced in the future. HOC’s clinic site in Seattle is being relocated due to unacceptable costs associated with bringing the original building to fire code standards for hyperbaric therapy. HOC is evaluating more appropriate clinic sites in Seattle to facilitate larger delivery of care; the decision is expected in the next few months, allowing HOC to have a strong presence in Seattle. The tissue cleansing and restoration program developed at his site is now being integrated with hyperbaric therapy at the Vancouver and Victoria sites and will be reintroduced when HOC re-enters the Seattle area with its full range of clinical services integrated to benefit from both user-pay and the health insurance providers in this market.
